{"id":174,"date":"2013-12-01T22:41:09","date_gmt":"2013-12-01T22:41:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ahorseforonebin.co.uk\/?p=174"},"modified":"2013-12-01T22:43:52","modified_gmt":"2013-12-01T22:43:52","slug":"studio-laptop-bsod-update-driver","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ahorseforonebin.co.uk\/?p=174","title":{"rendered":"studio laptop \/ bsod update \/ driver ?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Well, migrating everything, even the 60Gb of music, from the studio laptop seems to have had a beneficial effect.<\/p>\n<p>No more BSODs.<\/p>\n<p>However, I still have the unexplained drivers issue, in Device Manager:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ahorseforonebin.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/drivers.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-175\" alt=\"drivers\" src=\"https:\/\/ahorseforonebin.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/drivers.jpg\" width=\"312\" height=\"355\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ahorseforonebin.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/drivers.jpg 312w, https:\/\/ahorseforonebin.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/drivers-263x300.jpg 263w, https:\/\/ahorseforonebin.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/drivers-131x150.jpg 131w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 312px) 100vw, 312px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s a puzzle.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>There has been no new hardware installed in &#8211; or connected to &#8211; the laptop.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>And yet the message is that a Modem Device driver is either incorrectly installed or in conflict.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ahorseforonebin.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/drivers2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-176\" alt=\"drivers2\" src=\"https:\/\/ahorseforonebin.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/drivers2.jpg\" width=\"230\" height=\"313\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ahorseforonebin.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/drivers2.jpg 230w, https:\/\/ahorseforonebin.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/drivers2-220x300.jpg 220w, https:\/\/ahorseforonebin.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/drivers2-110x150.jpg 110w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 230px) 100vw, 230px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>When I delete the hardware, in Device Manager, the error message goes away.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>But on reboot, the same conflict appears.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ll get the Windows drivers disk out of the box in the spare room.<\/p>\n<p>Any day now.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Well, migrating everything, even the 60Gb of music, from the studio laptop seems to have had a beneficial effect.
